   My name is LayHak Chea. I'm 20 year old.

Where are you born?
I were born in Battambang city Cambodia. I'm speak Khmer language.

Where do you grow up?
I'm grow up in Cambodia. I like my country. My country have a lot of beautiful place.

Did you go to school in your country?
I'm go to school in Cambodia. The school in Cambodia is different then the US. Because In Cambodia didn't have a foods for a student for breakfast in lunch time. In the school didn't have a police like the US but The teacher are good same the US.

When did you arrive in the US?
 I'm arrive to the US in July-25-2014. I come with my family.

What did you think the U.S would be like?
I thought before, I come to America.I never saw heaven. But I think the U.S would be like heaven. It is very fun that I think like that.

What was it really like?
The U.S it was really like country of freedom. Because In the U.S have every thing that you need. It has a good job for the people .It has a good school for the student that move from anther country.

What was your first Day of school like here?
The first day that I am go to school.I am very excited and little bit afraid. I am excited because I meet new friends. My English is better when I am go to school. I am afraid because in my country I am study English a little. I afraid when I meet a teacher how can I talk with them. I don't understand when the teacher talk fast.

How were teacher the same or different in the U.S and your home school?
The teacher in my country the same the teacher in the US they all very good.
I like them. The teacher in the U.S they are very friendly. They are very good teaching. when I study with them I feel very happy. I like them so much.

Now how do you feel about school?
Now I feel happy to be in school . I don't be afraid any more. because Now I have a lot of friends. I can talk with my friends that different country. and I can talk with my teacher. I can listen when they are talk fast.I like the U.S school.

How do your parents feel about living in the U.S?
My family have a good feel when they come to live in the U.S. because When my family come to live in the U.S they have a good job. They have more money then they live in Combodia. They are  happy when I have a school for study in the U.S. My family like the U.S so much.

What would make your life better here?
The U.S is a wonderful country. My life is better when I come to live here. I have a good school in the U.S. My family have a good job. I have more money. I have more friends that different country.
My life is better more and more when i came here. I like the U.S.

Do you have any other stories about coming to the U.S?
I have a lot of store about go to the U.S. When I stay in Cambodia. I am a student in Battambang city Cambodia.

How do you feel about your country and the U.S?
I feel when I live in my country and I live in the U.S all is different.

My Thankful

    I am very thankful for my family. because it means that I am a member in the family.I think about that you help me every time . and We have fun and sad.We are live together every day. We are very happy, that we live together. I want say thankful ,and we are live together forever. :D

    I am very thankful for all my teacher in Furness High School. because it mean that I am a student in Furness High School. I thank about that your teaching me. I am very love you all my teacher. that we have fun and sad. Your are very hard teaching me, and all student in Furness. My teacher i very thank is Mrs,Bhavnani. She is teach me very well. She very have fun and fierce. :D

    I am very thankful for my new friends in Furness High School. because it mean that They are my beast friends.I am very love my friends in Furness. They are have funny and kind. Surprises in America arrived

     I am very thought before,I am came to America.I am thinking about my new school in the U.S. My english speaking and writhed .My healthcare, My way of life in the future.The weather in the U.S. The new house it good to live or not.and The people in the America.They are bad guy or good.The food in America,I it good or not.I can eat or not.If i lose in the city, what can i do.If i go to school, How can i speak english to my teacher and my new friends.

    The three biggest  surprises for me when I arrived is airport, road ,and tropical in the America.The airport in the America it very big.It is the fist big airports,that I see in the U.S.The road in the U.S it very big too.The right road have 5 lain and  left lain have 5 to.It very big .I never see big rode like this before.and The tropical is beautiful.I see a lot of tree and flower no the road and on the park .My fell very surprises and very happy.When I arrived in the America.
